Going green at Green & Jenks

Spring is a great time to have a make over and that's just what we have been doing at our store in the bustling leafy area of Wellfield Road, Roath. 

Our welcoming new layout with a backdrop of our favourite fresh green walls and our new eco chiller sends out messages of new life and care for the environment. That's what we are focusing on in 2023. 

In the last year we have worked on reducing our energy consumption by reducing the amount of chillers and freezers we have and to replace with eco ones. So our new sliding door chiller will massively reduce our electricity consumption and it's so much quieter too, so we can enjoy our favourite playlists and create a homely atmosphere for our customers. Toe tapping and singing is allowed.

Watch out for more environmental initiatives as we continue to become a sustainable grocers and one of Wales's leading independent food store.
